    Buses will replace trains between Severn Tunnel Junction and Gloucester (buses supplied by Transport for Wales).

    The 05:20 Bristol Temple Meads to Cardiff Central (Mon-Fri) will be replaced by a bus between Bristol Temple Meads and Newport.

    Transport for Wales:

    Saturday and Sunday:

    Buses will replace trains between Severn Tunnel Junction and Gloucester.

    Monday to Wednesday:

    Buses will replace trains between Newport and Gloucester.

    Thursday and Friday:

    Before 06:30 on Thursday, buses will replace trains between Newport and Gloucester.

    After 06:30 on Thursday and all day on Friday, buses will replace trains between Severn Tunnel Junction and Gloucester.

    Engineering work is taking place between Rugeley Trent Valley and Congleton / Macclesfield, closing all lines.

    Avanti West Coast:

    The engineering work will block the Avanti West Coast route between London Euston and Manchester Piccadilly via Stoke-on-Trent in both directions.

    As a result, an amended service of two trains per hour will operate between London Euston and Manchester Piccadilly as follows:

    • One train per hour calling at Stafford, Crewe, Wilmslow and Stockport
    • One train per hour calling at Milton Keynes Central, Rugby, Stafford and Stockport.

    To provide connections to / from Stoke-on-Trent and Macclesfield, buses will run between Stafford and Stoke-on-Trent, and between Wilmslow and Macclesfield.

    Services between London Euston and Liverpool Lime Street will be stopping additionally at Nuneaton.

    CrossCountry:

    Train services will not call at Stoke-on-Trent or Macclesfield.

    Rail replacement buses will run between:

    • Stafford - Stoke-on-Trent and Macclesfield

    Train services between Stafford and Crewe via Stoke-on-Trent will not run.

    A replacement bus service will run between Stafford and Crewe, calling at Stone, Stoke-on-Trent, Longport, Kidsgrove, and Alsager.

    Manchester Piccadilly – Macclesfield / Stoke-on-Trent: Additional services will be provided between Stockport and Macclesfield.

    The following services are affected:

    • The 19:15 Penzance to Bristol Temple Meads will divert after Taunton to terminate at Westbury.

    This service will not call at Bridgwater, Highbridge & Burnham, Weston-super-Mare and Yatton.

    • The 20:30 London Paddington to Weston-super-Mare service will terminate at Bristol Temple Meads. A replacement bus service will run between Bristol Temple Meads and Weston-super-Mare, calling at Nailsea & Blackwell, Yatton, and Worle.
    • The 21:08 Paignton to Bristol Temple Meads service will terminate at Taunton.
    • The 21:23 Portsmouth Harbour to Bristol Temple Meads service will depart Westbury later than normal at 23:55. A replacement bus service will run between Taunton and Bristol Temple Meads, calling at Bridgwater, Highbridge & Burnham, Weston-super-Mare and Yatton.
    • The 22:00 Bristol Temple Meads to Exeter St Davids service will not call at Highbridge & Burnham and Bridgwater, arriving at Taunton earlier than usual. A replacement bus service will run between Weston-super-Mare and Taunton calling at Highbridge & Burnham and Bridgwater.
    • The 22:44 Taunton to Bristol Temple Meads service will divert after Taunton to terminate at Westbury. A replacement bus service will run between Taunton and Bristol Temple Meads, calling at all stations.
    • The 23:05 Bristol Temple Meads to Exeter St Davids service will divert between Bristol Temple Meads and Taunton. A replacement bus service will run between Bristol Temple Meads and Taunton calling at all stations.
    • The 23:06 Bristol Temple Meads to Westbury service will operate later than usual throughout.
    • The 23:48 Bristol Temple Meads to Exeter St Davids service will start at Taunton. A replacement bus service will run between Bristol Temple Meads and Taunton calling at all stations, departing earlier than usual from Bristol Temple Meads.

    A replacement bus service will run between Bristol Temple Meads and Exeter St Davids calling at all stations (stopping only).

    Services between Portsmouth Harbour and Cardiff Central will run an amended timetable between Bristol Temple Meads and Filton Abbey Wood.

    Additionally:

    • The 06:18 Yeovil Pen Mill to Filton Abbey Wood service will terminate at Bristol Temple Meads.
    • The 06:37 Taunton to Severn Beach service will terminate at Bristol Temple Meads.
    • The 17:01 Severn Beach to Salisbury service will start at Bristol Temple Meads.
    • The 21:59 Cardiff Central to Bristol Temple Meads service will divert after Patchway to terminate at Bristol Parkway.
    • The 22:30 Cardiff Central to Bristol Temple Meads service will divert after Patchway to terminate at Bristol Parkway on Friday only.

    Replacement Bus Services:

    From 07:30 to 20:00, replacement bus services will operate hourly between:

    • Direct between Bristol Temple Meads and Clifton Down, then calling at all stations to / from Avonmouth / Severn Beach
